ABOUT
DR ANNIE LIAU
Dr Annie 获得马来西亚沙巴基金会奖学金, 2000年在加拿大达尔豪斯大学(Dalhousie University)完成了医学学位后回到马来西亚，在政府医院工作了18年.于2018年开始从事私人看诊。
自2002年以来一直在各个政府医院的儿科部门工作，如砂拉越综合医院、美里医院及士拉央医院。
2009年获得了英国皇家儿科会会员资格， MRCPCH(UK)。
Dr Annie 从2017年到2018年是马来西亚Univesiti Teknologi Mara(UiTM)大学儿科医学生的兼职讲师。
Dr Annie 对自闭症谱系障碍有特别的兴趣。从2013年到2018年，Dr Annie在士拉央医院医院开设了一个儿科自闭症诊所，以满足这些儿童和家庭的特定需求。
基于该病情的复杂性和异质性，Dr Annie 认为没有“一刀切”的方法可以帮助自闭症谱系障碍患者，干预必须个体化。Dr Annie认为，家长的积极参与是儿童发展成果的关键。Dr Annie 相信神经多样性（neurodiversity)，她相信只要持之以恒地努力，就一定能够找到办法激发孩子的潜力。
Dr Annie 是以下组织的成员：
1）英国皇家儿科和儿童健康学院 (MRCPCH)
2）马来西亚儿科医生协会 (MPA)。
Dr Annie 是 Columbia Asia Hospital-Klang 的访问儿科顾问。

-PEERS®青年社交技巧訓練,
UCLA -ACAS（高级认证自闭症专家) (ACAS 207391）,IBCCES
-社交思维临床实习生1级（美国)
-曾担任儿童和青少年自闭症谱系障碍临床实践指南的核心培训师（马来西亚卫生部)
Dr Annie completed her medical degree at Dalhousie University, Canada in year 2000 under Malaysian Sabah Foundation scholarship, after which she has come back to Malaysia and worked in government hospitals for a total of 18 years before embarking on private practice in 2018.
Dr Annie has been serving at Paediatric Department since 2002 in various government hospitals ie Sarawak General Hospital, Miri Hospital and Selayang Hospital.
Dr Annie obtained her postgraduate qualification in Paediatrics from Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health , United Kingdom in 2009.
Dr Annie was also an adjunct lecturer for medical students doing Paediatric postings from Universiti Teknologi MARA(UiTM) from 2017-2018.
Dr Annie has special interest in developmental paediatric conditions especially Autism Spectrum Disorder. From 2013 to 2018. Dr Annie has founded and run a Paediatric Autism Clinic at Selayang Hospital , to cater to the specific needs of these children and families.
In view of the complexity and heterogeneity of the condition, Dr Annie believes there is no “one size fits all”approach to helping individuals with Autism and interventions have to be individualized. Dr Annie strongly believe in intensive parental involvement being the key in children ‘s developmental outcome. Dr Annie believes in neurodiversity and there are always ways to optimize a child’s potential as long as one do not stop looking.

Dr Annie is currently visitng Consultant Paediatrician at Columbia Asia Hospital-Klang.
