Where the world slumbers, you carry on,
Autism moms, on call every day, 24/7/365,
Juggling roles in your unbelievable ways.
You’re the driver, chef, and therapist,
Coordinator of each precious twist,
Advocate for your child’s unheard voice,
In a world where understanding’s a choice.
Through the long nights that never end,
You lay awake, worries to tend,
Dreams of futures, bright and true,
Yet shadowed by what’s yet to ensue.
When asked how you are, you say “I’m fine”,
Knowing few grasp your constant climb
For your battles are fought in silent grace,
In the unseen corners of life’s embrace.
You wait patiently for that cherished word,
“Mom”, whispered softly, yet unheard,
Your days filled with therapies, appointments galore,
Yet your love and hope continue to soar.
In the whirlwind of therapies and doctor’s appointments,
Your strength shines bright, love’s endless greetings,
With every step, no matter how small,
Your heart jumps high, answering the call.
Some of you have become founders bold,
Of intervention centres, stories untold,
Driven by love for your child’s future sake,
Creating paths where others may partake.
Despite obstacles, stigma, you never give in,
Your resilience shines through, a radiant grin,
For your love knows no bounds, your spirit untamed,
Autism moms, you’re forever acclaimed.

For your dedication, your endless love,
